Ice skating
Engadine guests enjoy the ice rinks which have a long tradition in the valley: Here the first curling match on the European mainland took place (1880), the first European ice skating championships (1882) and the first ice hockey match on Swiss ground (1888).
For 100 years Celerina’s ice rink has been regarded as the sunniest in all of Europe. And its offer is especially varied: There is a rink for free skating and for ice hockey, a rink with natural ice and a curling field with seven rinks.
