The very spacious cabin of the cable car is already impressive and in just 7 minutes after leaving Surlej it reaches the middle station. It becomes even more exciting when at the end of the second stretch, at the highest mountain station in the East Alps at 3303 meters, you enter into the truly great mountain panorama. You’ll be out of breath not only because of this sight and the height but also when you chase down the 9 kilometer long challenging king’s descent from the Corvatsch by way of the Hahnensee directly to St. Moritz, or when you attack Switzerland’s longest illuminated ski run at night.
Whatever: Corvatsch means sport, and that until late spring.
