Summer holidays in the Engadine

The Upper Engadine is located in the southern part of the East Alps. These are majestic witnesses of time, having risen from the folds of the continental plate millions of years ago. The most famous peaks have written and are still writing mountain climber’s history, none more so than the Piz Bernina (4,049 above sea level).

The unique combination of narrow ridges, pointed hights and mountain lakes that constantly change their colors amaze us. The mountain massive, surrounding the valley of the Upper Engadine is generous with highlights: Icy glaciers, vistas on “the celebration hall of the alps” with its 3000 and 4000 meter high mountains or the view on the silvery lakes stretch out in the valley.
